Hat tip Frankhats for this image, originally from a South African repair website called Lawnmower Ranch. The scenario radiates evil: an unexplained, smoke-belching inferno on a quiet suburban street, no humans in sight. Horrible things are happening off camera, or everyone simply disappeared, leaving comforting day-to-day items in a state of deadly conflagration. The slightly antiquated machinery, greasily charred, stands as a mute requiem to the fossil fuel era and dreams of utopia turned bleak and meaningless. And by the way, you need a new lawnmower.
