"Vector Repeater II"

"Vector Repeater II" [mp3 moved to Bandcamp]

This song and the next should probably called vignettes as they are fairly simple ideas. This one is a drum solo using a "sample destroying" sequencer (and again, much reverb and compression).

"Shark Ship"

"Shark Ship" [mp3 removed]

A somewhat melancholy synth dirge using a capacitor wave sound generator (have worked with this instrument from the Reaktor user library, called Shark, before). Very compressed for a rumbly, full sound. The song's title is from a classic C.M. Kornbluth story.

"Software Caddy II"

"Software Caddy II" [mp3 removed]

Was posting several songs a month for the last few years but got distracted by GIFs. Am almost up to 500 tunes, including remixes and collaborations. This one is done using some Reaktor beatbox presets with fairly heavy reverb and compression, and a few club stabs when my attention started lagging. Deep, noisy bass that a competent masterer would probably sculpt a little more.

Update: Oops, forgot to add the metadata. Reuploaded.

"Arpache Warrior"

"Arpache Warrior" [mp3 removed]

Still working with Linplug's Element P rhythm softsynth and midi effects ("Arpache" is Cubase's in-house arpeggiator). Some piano enters and imitates some of the themes--always trying to imagine a type of conservatory piano bar music with a mix of human and android musicians.

"Defunkted"

"Defunkted" [mp3 removed]

There was a postpunk jazz group called Defunkt but this is kind of the opposite of that (as in, heavy use of default xylophone). All sounds made with Linplug's Element P rhythm softsynth, plus some midi effects.

Update: Made the xylophone a shade quieter in the first 20 seconds but jeez it's penetrating. It could be used by the military to make dictators come out of their houses.
