"Blight Curvature" [mp3 removed]
Bass, piano and some atmospherics done with the Linplug Alpha softsynth. The percussion is all turntable sounds manicured and run through various effects.
Music housekeeping: I had always intended for the content snake to eat its long tail. Have finally started doing that - as I put up new mp3s I am taking down the oldest ones (except for my Mac SE songs from the '80s - am leaving those up for now). The snake is about seven years long so this is not a big issue.
"A-112 Delay Experiments" [mp3 revised and moved to Bandcamp]
Ambient dub-style piece where I was seeing what the above modular delay configuration could do with a single throbbing synth note for six three minutes. ("A-112" is the A-112 Doepfer Eurorack 8-bit sampling module.) Beatbox beats and turntable sounds were added throughout most of the tune.
Update, Oct. 2014: Shortened, remixed, and reposted this track. Six minutes was just too indulgent for a mere demo.

More minimal techno (with a handful of bass and lead riffs) similar to "Swim With Dolphins, Run With Logan."
About 4 minutes. All digital: Reaktor GoBox and Lazerbass, mixed in Cubase.

"Short Scratch Waltz" [mp3 moved to Bandcamp]
Some time back I made a drum sample kit of turntable scratch sounds for the Linplug RMV sampler. The kit was messed up because sample start and end times weren't being saved with the project. This bug has been fixed in version 5.08 (I think) and the kit is now more stable. I did this song with a selection of edited scratches and a slight amount of reverb.
"Robot in Brazil" [mp3 removed]
This is the tune "Percussion Reassembly" with added Brazilian percussion and electric piano (from the same sample kits used in "Tres Amingos"). It's supposed to be kind of funny, or at least droll. I could envision this as music for a videogame where a robot goes into the jungle to gather hallucinogenic plants. A talking drum hoots whenever he gets a healing assist.
